Deadline looms for Senior Tax Credit Applications
The application period to receive a senior tax credit for the 2025 taxing year will end on June 30. Applications must be turned into the Audrain County Collector’s Office or postmarked by June 30.
Residents are eligible to apply for the tax credit if:
- They are 62 years of age
- Own their residence in Audrain County and reside in the home
- Are current on their real estate taxes
Audrain County Collector Amy LeCount said the application period is only for those who are 62 or who will turn 62 this year. Residents who turn 62 in 2026 can apply beginning April 1, 2026.
