Instead of raising base electric rates when energy prices fluctuate, Vandalia applies COPA to reflect changes in the actual cost of purchasing power. This means:

✅ Fair pricing based on real market conditions

✅ More transparency in your monthly bill

📌 COPA has always been part of your electric rate, but with our new billing software, it’s now listed separately so you can see exactly what you're paying for. On your bill, look for the code CO—that’s your Cost of Power Adjustment.

🧾 We know this new billing format is a little different from what we're all used to, and it may take some time to get familiar with. But it’s designed to give you more clarity and control over your energy costs.
