1. Can I request public records from the City of Vandalia?

Public records, City Council resolutions and ordinances, and other information can be requested by submitting the Records and Information Request Form to the City Clerk's Office. Historical information that is not available from the City Clerk's Office can be obtained from the Vandalia Area Historical Society.

2. I sustained an injury / damage and I believe the City is responsible, what do I do?

If you have sustained an injury or damage for which you believe the City or one of its employees is responsible, you may file a claim against the City. Claim forms must be completed at City Hall.
