Borrowing Library Materials

Library Cards
Library cards can be issued at each of the Audrain County branches.  Library cards are issued at no charge to residents of Audrain County and reciprocal borrowing patrons of Centralia Public Library, Daniel Boone Regional Library, Callaway County Library, Little Dixie Regional Libraries, Missouri River Regional Library, and Ralls County Library.  If an out of county patron pays Audrain County taxes, they must present a current property tax receipt for their free library card.  Residents not in Audrain County or a reciprocal borrowing county may purchase a library card for $20.00 per year.  Please bring the following to the library to get your card:
  • Valid photo identification with current address
  • Proof of current mailing address, if your address on your photo ID is incorrect
  • Current property tax receipt, if you are an out of county patron
You must be age 18 or older to get a library card. For patrons under 18, a parent or guardian must be present to show identity and sign for the child.
